This is a preowned vintage spoon rest featuring decorations representing the State of Virginia, made by the Pearl China Co. It is yellow with the decorative pattern featuring green, red and brown. The faded information on the back of the spoon rest indicates it is "hand decorated" and at one time had "22 KT Gold" detailing. Shows evidence of extensive use such as faded colors and no evidence of gold detailing. There is some staining on the bottom and slight cracking under the finish on the bottom. Approximate measurements are 6-1/4"x3"x7/8". Circa 1960s-1970s.
