My Web Yard Sale, LLC d.b.a. (doing business as) Nearly Collectibles is an ecommerce secondhand store, located in Maryland, specializing in items from "yesteryear". A variety of preowned, probably not available in stores anymore kind of stuff. Some of our inventory is from last year and some of it is decades old. 

We have college memorabilia, sports memorabilia, books, DVDs, video games, kitchen accessories, home decor, fashion jewelry, stuffed toys, office accessories, clothes, etc. Our collection of products is random, unique and varied.

We have observed over the years that the trends for secondhand stores has been to carry only current styles of clothes, to only offer in season clothing, to get rid of general inventory after a short period of time. All of this in an effort to maximize sales and keep customers coming back by providing "fresh" inventory for sale.

Then there are the "vintage" themed stores who only sell vintage products, and their vintage inventory seems to be selective as well. One of the major online marketplaces demands that if a product is labeled vintage there has to be documentation supporting its vintage status.

What happens to all the stuff from prior years, stuff that is not trendy, not designer and missing its "documentation"? Unfortunately a lot of it winds up at the landfill, unless Nearly Collectibles sees it first! If it can be used again, we will sell it.
