The Cat in the Hat was a children's book fron 1957 written by Dr. Seuss. This stuffed toy is in the likeness of the main character in the book and is referred to as "the Cat in the Hat", it is a black and white cat with a tall red and white striped hat. Approximate measurements are: 16" tall when seated (it can sit but is not stable); from top of hat to toe is 25" when flat; tail extends 10"; arm is 7-1/2" long. Made in Ontario, Canada and China
